Tutors choose their own schedule and all tutoring sessions take place during FLOAT Prep’s hours of operation.

Monday-Friday 10am to 8pm 

Saturday 10am to 8pm 

Sunday 10am to 6pm

All tutoring sessions occur online.

Yes, we require all tutors to have at least two consecutive years of teaching or tutoring experience

English, Math, or Test Prep (SAT or ACT only)

1- Submit a Resume 

2- Get called for an Interview  

3- Conduct a Mini Lesson 

4- Receive an Offer Letter 

5- Complete a Criminal Background Check 

6- Attend a New Hire Orientation

Tutors should know how to create cohesive lesson plans. Tutors will meet periodically with an educational consultant to discuss effective  teaching strategies and methods.

Yes, we strive to create a conducive learning experience for all of our students. Therefore we find it is crucial to maintain a consistent routine and tutor for students.

Group sessions will have a maximum of 8 students.

Pay is on a monthly basis.
